Lush is a hyperreal terrarium, built and rendered entirely in Unreal Engine. Every fern, moss bed, and water-streaked pane of glass runs on Lumen real-time global illumination, with no path tracing anywhere in the pipeline. It is proof that a real-time engine can hold up to the closest look.
Lush is a single terrarium scene taken to the edge of what real-time rendering can do. The whole environment lives inside Unreal Engine, lit by Lumen global illumination as it runs, so the bounce light, soft shadows, and reflections on the glass all resolve on the fly rather than baking for hours. The result reads like a photograph, yet it plays back live.
